HoT icons show behind character names after switching specs

Confirm the issue lies within VuhDo:

This is with only VuhDo enabled.

Describe your environment:

  • VuhDo version 3.173, 3.174-alpha-1
  • World of Warcraft region EU
  • World of Warcraft client language enUS

Summary of the issue:

When automatically switching key layouts based on specs, the HoT icons can show behind the character names (panel text).

This has been happening for a long time - at least for the entirety of Dragonflight.

/reload or opening and closing VuhDo options fixes this.

Expected behaviour:

HoT icons should always be above the character names (panel text).

Actual behaviour:

Prerequisites: Have at least 2 key layouts - one for a spec with no HoT icons and another for a spec with at least one HoT icon in slot 7 (middle). The key layouts should be configured to switch automatically based on spec. Showing player names on panels should also be enabled and set to the middle.

  1. Log out in the spec that has no HoT icons
  2. Log back in
  3. Switch to the spec that has HoT icons
  4. Apply the buff to a unit so the HoT icon shows up
  5. The icon will show behind the unit name until a /reload or opening and closing VuhDo options fixes it
